Terms of use

Last updated 10 October 2026

These terms are short on purpose. By using Compare & Analyze you agree to them. If you do not, please do not use the app.

What the app does

Compare & Analyze shows the differences between two files. It is a tool to help you review changes, not a guarantee that every difference is found or described correctly. For anything important, check the result yourself before relying on it.

Your files and your responsibility

  • You keep all rights to your files. The app does not claim any.
  • Only upload files you are allowed to use and share, and follow any rules your organisation has for its data.
  • Do not use the app for anything unlawful, or to attack, overload or probe the service.
  • You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details private.

How files are handled is described in the Privacy page.

Limits and availability

The service has limits, such as the size of the files it accepts and how many requests one person can make, and these can change. The app is provided on a best-effort basis: it may be unavailable at times, and features may change or be removed.

No warranty, limited liability

The app is provided "as is", without promises of any kind about accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted use. To the extent the law allows, the developer is not liable for losses that come from using the app or relying on its results, including decisions made from a comparison.

Access can be withdrawn

Access may be limited or ended for anyone who breaks these terms or misuses the service.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated. The date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to use the app means you accept it.
